Join Penn Highlands Healthcare as a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technician in our Cardiac Cath Lab. This role offers a $20,000 sign‑on bonus and opportunities to assist in cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician.
Summary
As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technician, under the direction of a qualified physician, you will assist in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of heart disease while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
* Certificate program graduate of a certificate or degree granting program in Health Science (including, but not limited to, Cardiovascular Technology, Licensed Practical Nurse, Radiologic Technology, Paramedic).
* Required associate’s degree from an accredited school of radiology or cardiovascular technology.
* Preferred RCIS certification within 2 years of hire.
Required Experience/Skills
* Previous interventional and/or diagnostic cath lab experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills
* Healthcare provider (BLS) certification.
* Participation in department on‑call schedule.
* ACLS certification within 6 months of start date.
