Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a highly motivated maintenance engineer to join a fast-paced maintenance department. You will be responsible for ensuring that industrial CNC, automated machinery, and equipment run efficiently. Your work will involve planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance and responding to equipment failures and breakdowns.
Hours:
06:00 – 18:00 on a four-on, four-off shift pattern
Additional responsibilities include:
* Fault diagnosis on CNC Mills, Turning Centres, and Lathes
* Working with detailed electrical and mechanical drawings
* Identifying root causes of breakdowns
* Specifying maintenance and operating procedures
* Adhering to maintenance procedures
* Assisting the Maintenance Manager with statistical and financial records for the maintenance department
* Managing liquids in the workplace, including testing for bacteria
* Building maintenance and workplace health and safety
* Designing site-specific equipment as required
* Monitoring building systems and processes
Requirements:
* Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within an industrial environment
* Experience fault diagnosing CNC machinery
* Fault diagnosis experience in:
o Electrical 3-phase systems
o Control I/O systems
o Hydraulics
o Pneumatics
* Formal Engineering Apprenticeship
* NVQ Level 4 in Engineering
* Tidy, organized, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude
* Experience with Fanuc control systems
