It’s this sense of pace, innovating and improving pretty much everything we do, that makes Trainline so exciting and unique - we truly believe our work has a genuine impact and will change travel for the better.Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has come up for a Workplace Experience Manager to lead a small team in our London Headquarters, responsible for creating a great place to work for more than 500 colleagues.As a key member of the Global Workplace Experience team you’ll manage the full range of hard and soft workplace activity - both the delivery of services that includes reception, cleaning, catering, maintenance, health & safety, security, risk management and compliance, as well as the more experiential side of local events and wellbeing activity.Key ResponsibilitiesCreating optimised workplace environments – that support hybrid ways of working, including physical space design, space utilization and tech tools.Managing day-to-day operations – including building management, contract management, maintenance, office services and standards, health and safety, budget management and environmental legislationCollaboratingwith key stakeholders - such as Building Management, Finance, Security, Tech Operations and the wider People team to ensure everything runs smoothly and Trainliners receive a great serviceEstablishing positive relationships with leadership teams - to understand business requirements and anticipate any inefficiencies or quality issues and work to quickly resolveAdvocating for local team needs – understanding employee sentiment and contributing to action plans and group strategyEstablishing sustainable practices – that supports Trainline in achieving its net zero goals and living by its green purposeManaging local events – to create social occasions that bring people together and promote company connectionsGathering and reporting performance metrics - to monitor usage and productivity of staff, as well as Trainliner satisfactionParticipating in construction and design projects – as and when needed, representing local needs and requirements in planning and executing move-in activities, including change management and communication plansQualificationsSeveral years experience in facilities management, preferably in a Technology organisation of similar size or largerYou'll be able to think on your feet and slove problems quicklyGreat communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels will be essentialHealth & Safety Awareness or similar qualificationExperience leading a team is desirable but not essentialBe able to work full-time on site in our Central London HQ, with some flexibility when neededAdditional InformationWe value open expression at Trainline, we believe it’s the diversity of experience, backgrounds and perspectives of our employees that makes us who we are.
