For suitably experienced applicants, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute directly to the design and delivery of high-performance, sustainable buildings. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development and delivery of architectural projects across residential, commercial and community sectors. Prepare drawings, technical information, schedules and documentation using AutoCAD. Support projects through various RIBA stages, from concept design through to technical delivery and completion. Assist with planning applications, building control submissions and tender/construction documentation. Apply a strong understanding of current Building Regulations and construction principles to project work. Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors and internal team members. Contribute ideas and solutions that support sustainable design, Passive House principles, low-energy construction and high-performance building standards. Manage workload effectively, ensuring work is accurate, timely and aligned with project requirements. For experienced Architects, Project Architects or senior technical candidates, take responsibility for leading projects and supporting the future strategic growth of the practice. Person Specification / About You The successful applicant will be a confident, personable and self-motivated architectural professional with a genuine interest in thoughtful, sustainable design. Applicants may come from a range of architectural backgrounds, including Architect, Project Architect, Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician, Senior Architectural Technician, Architectural Assistant or Part II Architectural Assistant roles. You should have: Relevant architectural qualifications and/or practical experience suited to the position applied for. A strong working knowledge of current Building Regulations. A solid understanding of construction principles and technical detailing. Full proficiency in AutoCAD. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to work. The ability to work both independently and as part of a small design-led team. A keen interest in sustainable design, Passive House principles and low-energy building standards. Working knowledge of Revit would be advantageous, though not essential.
