About you
You will have expertise in midwifery and midwifery education. You will be joining a team which is committed to your professional development and support you as an educator. You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, be educated to BSc level with evidence of active continuing professional development.
Qualifications
Essential;
1. Degree qualification or equivalent in relevant subject
2. NMC registered Midwife
3. Professional Recognition as HEA Fellow (D2) or teaching qualification recognised by HESA, or willingness to obtain within an agreed timescale
Desirable;
4. Master’s degree in relevant subject
5. Doctorate in relevant subject, completed or within 12 months of completion
Faculty
The Faculty of Health, Sport and Behavioural Sciences is a vibrant faculty specialising in preparing students for careers in health, sport, and behavioural sciences. Interprofessional learning is an integral part of the curriculum offer to our student groups and the faculty offers learning from levels 4 to 8.
