Job summary Job Summary To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administration duties and providing general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to scanning and processing documents, handling and filtering medical reports and letters via DOCMAN, as well as some reception duties such as greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing information, and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patient letters, reports and related documentation, ensuring accurate distribution of information, messages and enquiries to the clinical team. This includes liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. Please Note: This position is open only to UK citizens who have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the UK. Main duties of the job As a Medical Receptionist, you will greet patients, manage appointments, handle calls and enquiries, and support the smooth running of the reception area. You will assist with patient registrations, prescription requests, and general administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and providing a professional, welcoming service at all times. Additional duties may be required depending on workload and staffing levels.
