Responsibilities
* Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
* Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
* Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales especially focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending
* Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items eg boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets
* Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch
Qualifications
* Prior industry experience would be advantageous
* Face to Face customer service is essential
* Prior warehouse experience
* Willingness to work as a part of a team and to take on a diverse role
* Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
* To be comfortable lifting heavy items

Salary: £26,695
Full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and alternate Saturdays 08.00am - 12.00pm.
