We're looking for a Highways Safety Inspector to join our Transportation team based in Birmingham. Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence is essential.

Location: Thimble Mil Lane, Birmingham – required to visit sites for inspections
Hours: Permanent, full time of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £26,208 - £28,000 per annum + benefits
Responsibilities:
* Collect data relating to safety and potential improvements to safeguard the travelling public, clients, and Kier, and assist in inspections.
* Identify defects on site relating to all asset types.
* Build relationships with stakeholders.
* Arrange and deliver enforcement letters.
* Raise works and enquiries within the data management system.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Lantra Highway Inspector qualification.
* Able to manage stakeholders at all levels.
* Able to work independently and prioritize workload.
