Outline of role
The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Inventory Team Leader ensuring that all orders and warehouse stock holdings are accurate and aligned to the upcoming programme of works. The role involves working closely with suppliers, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely reporting to support the wider team.
Main responsibilities
* Working with the team and Team Leader to support day-to-day workload requirements
* Monitoring and maintaining supplier information to ensure records are up to date
* Assisting with reporting on supplier performance
* Supporting process improvements within the team
* Tracking PO spending to help maintain available funding within agreed provisions
* Monitor and investigate inbound stock to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Knowledge and skills required
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* SAGE experience
* Ability to monitor and report accurately on performance data
* Strong organisational skills with an approachable manner
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
* Collaborative and proactive approach to supporting team objectives
Experience & qualifications
* Experience working within a demanding, client-facing environment
* Proven ability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment
* Background in lean operational and transactional processes (desirable)
