Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Options Autism School, Claystone School, Luton
We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our new Options Autism School - Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire, opening in January 2025. The school will accommodate 48 pupils aged 4-11 years with ASC and Complex Needs.
* Salary: £21,000 per annum (not pro rata)
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
* Start Date: September 2025

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people with neurodiversity, communication, sensory difficulties, and complex needs. You will support pupils' learning journeys, help prepare materials, and assist with classroom activities, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met to foster development and engagement.
