Starting in the January 2026 term, we are looking for proactive teachers to support respected primary schools across Blackburn. These roles offer total flexibility, ranging from short-term supply to long-term contracts that could lead to permanent positions for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for delivering the KS1 curriculum with energy and creativity, ensuring that every child-from those developing their early phonics skills to those preparing for the transition to Key Stage 2-feels supported and challenged.
Responsibilities as a KS1 Teacher
* Communicate with and support children with additional needs.

* Maintain a positive outlook and attitude.
* Apply various teaching methods effectively.

Requirements
Essential:
* Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS, etc.).
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
* Recent classroom experience.
* Two references from the last 5 years (one must be a full child-based safeguarding reference).
Desired:
* DBS on the update service. (If yours is not, we can assist you with a new application).
