Accounts Assistant Cross Concrete Flooring Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. Skills & Experience Experience in a busy accounts office environment. Three years experience in accounting software Sage 50 Accounts & Sage Payroll. Experienced MS Office user in Excel and Word. Excellent organisational, process and time management skills. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the following: Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry onto the system. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Preparing and processing payment runs (BACS/cheques), Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice or payment queries. Processing purchase orders with suppliers. Monthly bank reconciliation. Vat Return, Intrastate return. Processing weekly payroll and pension scheme, maintaining accurate records. Assisting with HR duties including recruitment administration, processing of application forms, equal opportunities monitoring, setting up interviews, requesting references, collating all the necessary paperwork in connection with new staff, updating all necessary HR correspondence. Supporting the wider finance team with customer accounts and any other administrative duties when necessary.
