Job Description: BI & Analytics Manager (Debt & Litigation Services) Location: Hybrid – Head Office in Runcorn for office days Purpose of the Role To design, build, and lead the business intelligence and analytics capability across DCB Legal and DCBL. This role will architect and manage a centralised data environment, deliver insightful reporting and dashboards, enable self-serve analytics, and provide strategic and operational analysis that drives performance, efficiency, and growth. The successful candidate will assess current capabilities and propose the most suitable data and visualisation tools for our evolving needs, ensuring scalability, automation, and ease of use across the business. Key Responsibilities Data Architecture & Infrastructure Design, implement, and maintain a robust data warehouse or equivalent data model that consolidates key systems (case management, telephony, payments, CRM, finance). Develop automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. Establish data governance standards, quality controls, and security protocols. Recommend and implement the optimal BI and visualisation platform for organisational needs. Reporting & Insight Develop interactive dashboards and self-serve reporting solutions for stakeholders at all levels. Produce regular and ad hoc MI for senior leadership, clients, and regulatory purposes. Translate business questions into clear analytical outputs, identifying actionable insights and trends. Monitor and report on key KPIs across collections, litigation, client performance, and operational efficiency. Analytics & Strategic Support Support the development of pricing and segmentation models for debt purchase and servicing. Provide analytical support for strategy testing, campaign performance, and operational optimisation. Identify revenue opportunities, efficiency gains, and cost reduction through data-led insight. Evaluate outcomes of new initiatives and make evidence-based recommendations. Planning & Leadership Create and deliver a BI & Analytics roadmap aligned to business priorities. Balance strategic projects with day-to-day reporting and stakeholder requests. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and build self-serve capability across teams. Collaborate with technology partners and vendors on automation, AI, and advanced analytics projects. Skills & Experience Essential: Proven BI / MI or data analytics experience in a debt recovery, collections, or litigation environment. Strong technical background in data architecture, modelling, and analytics (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or similar). Experience designing or maintaining data warehouses and automated data flows. Proven ability to evaluate, select, and implement appropriate BI / visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, or equivalent). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – able to translate data into business language. Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities. Desirable: Experience integrating with CRM (we have several, including a home-grown platform), telephony (e.g., TCN), or payment systems (e.g., Acquired.com). Familiarity with predictive modelling, segmentation, or AI-led analytics. Knowledge of client and regulatory MI reporting requirements. Exposure to automation tools and API-driven integrations.
