We are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher (Geography) to join our vibrant secondary school setting in Bradford. This is a permanent position to commence after Easter and continue through the summer term.
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
3. Proven experience in teaching Geography or related subjects at the secondary level
4. A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
6. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
7. Inspire curiosity and critical thinking through the exploration of geographical concepts, issues, and phenomena
8. Utilise a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance learning experiences
9. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
10. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the humanities curriculum
11. Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance
12. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required
