Security Operations Support
Location: Filton (initially full time on-site but may reduce to 4 days on-site)
Contract: 12 months (likely extension)
Hours: 35 per week (4.5‑day working week between 7am-7pm)
Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by the Client's Security Team), SC Clearance will also be required once started
Rate: £28 Umbrella / £20.93 PAYE

About the Role
Our Client is seeking a motivated Security Operations Support professional to assist with delivering a robust and responsive security framework across a major engineering and manufacturing site. This role is central to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personnel, assets, systems, and information while supporting wider operational objectives.
You will work directly with the Site Security leadership team, helping to implement protective security measures, support physical security and fire systems projects, and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external security providers.
The role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a diverse UK security function, gaining exposure to physical security, cyber, data, aviation, and emergency response disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Security Support
Support the delivery of protective security activities in line with existing policies and frameworks.
Assist with the management and oversight of security, systems, and fire service providers.
Provide input into project and event planning, ensuring security, systems, and fire considerations are met.Systems & Process Support
Act as first point of contact for specific security system issues and troubleshooting.
Conduct audits to ensure suppliers meet contractual requirements.
Apply practical problem‑solving methodologies (PPS) to identify faults, risks, and areas for process improvement.Administrative & Reporting
Produce security‑related reports as required.
Support risk and issue management across security and fire functions.
Build strong working relationships across the site to facilitate effective security integration.
Required Skills & Experience
Demonstrable background in security management, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of security risk management principles.
Experience in risk management and emergency planning.
Stakeholder management capability.
Project management experience, ideally coordinating multi‑functional teams.
Competent with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite.
