We have an exciting opportunity for an M&E Technician to join our Taw Valley Creamery site services team. This role is key as the creamery undergoes a major transformation with a £180 million investment. The technician will develop and review commissioning plans to ensure project objectives are achieved.
How You Will Add Value
* Maintain services across the site in accordance with the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme and provide corrective maintenance for equipment failures, including: Steam boiler, Waste Heat Boiler, CHP checks, Refrigeration, Effluent Treatment, Hot & Cold water systems, Cooling tower, HVAC.
* Collaborate with OEMs during service activities.
* Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
* Conduct equipment and plant condition assessments.
* Ensure compliance with QEHS standards such as Legionella control, fire safety, PSSR, LOTO.
* Authorize permits and oversee safe work practices.
Qualifications and Experience
* Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (mechanical or electrical)
* Positive, resilient attitude with problem-solving skills, teamwork, and continuous improvement mindset
* Experience in building services or facilities management, water treatment, industrial facilities, anaerobic digestion, or related fields

* Established in 1974, a key cheese production site in the UK, undergoing significant expansion.
* Processes approximately 1.2 million litres of milk daily, producing over 100 tonnes of cheese, butter, and whey powder.
