Overview
The NIHR Royal Surrey Clinical Research Facility has created an exciting opportunity for a band 5 research nurse.
With a specific focus on early phase research, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in research, trial protocols and research methodologies alongside your expert clinical skills.
Full-time post (1.0 WTE) funded until March 2029. Full-time post (0.8 WTE) funded until March 2029.
Responsibilities
* Work within the NIHR Royal Surrey Clinical Research Facility and across the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.
* Plan, set up and deliver a broad portfolio of research, providing excellent care for patients and collecting and reporting data to the highest standards in clinical research.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support, develop and deliver research projects for inpatient and outpatient trials.
* Apply in-depth knowledge of research methodology and understand local, national and international research regulations (e.g., ICH GCP, UK Clinical Trials Regulations).

Qualifications
* Essential
o NMC Level One Registration
o Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a small team, as well as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team
o Evidence of continuous personal, professional and academic development
* Desirable
o Mentorship qualification
o Relevant post registration qualification
Knowledge
* Essential
o Experience as a staff nurse or above working in clinical environment
o Experience of multidisciplinary working and collaborating with other agencies
o Management of resources
* Desirable
o Must have an understanding of national and international research regulations
o Clinical trials experience
o Personal and leadership management experience
