Sales Team Leader Leicester, LE3 – 100% office based £28,000 - £30,000 per annum performance-based bonuses Full time, permanent | Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking independent technology business, is looking to appoint a Sales Team Leader to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional with at least 2 years’ experience, who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You’ll be working closely with the Directors, receiving ongoing mentorship, while leading and inspiring a small sales team to deliver exceptional results. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on sales activity and people leadership – you’ll lead from the front, drive performance, and contribute directly to business growth. Key responsibilities: Lead, support and motivate a small team of sales executives to achieve and exceed targets Drive performance through clear goal-setting, coaching, and regular performance reviews Build and manage your own sales pipeline, leading by example Identify training needs and deliver ongoing development to team members Monitor and analyse sales metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement Work with Directors to deliver strategic sales initiatives Maintain strong client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities What we’re looking for: Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience – essential Strong understanding of the sales process with the ability to coach others Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills Ambitious and driven with a desire to grow into a leadership career Previous experience mentoring or supporting colleagues is advantageous If you’re a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of a leadership role, we’d love to hear from you
