What you will do
Design and price advanced Fire Detection and Life Safety Systems that meet key industry standards, including BS5839-1 and MOJ specifications. You'll work with integrated systems, applying your knowledge of networking principles and using AutoCAD to deliver smart, site-specific solutions. From technical design to tender delivery, you'll bring a commercial mindset and confidently present innovative ideas to clients.

How you will do it
* Develop and present Fire Detection and Life Safety solutions across multi-building locations, demonstrating strong technical design knowledge and commercial awareness.
* Review and interpret customer requirements to ensure tailored, effective solutions.
* Manage ambiguity and work to challenging deadlines with confidence and adaptability.
* Adopt new technologies and innovative approaches to enhance design outcomes.
* Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Plan and prioritise effectively to manage multiple competing demands.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and best practices.
What we look for
Required
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a Fire Design Role with design responsibility
* FIA Advanced Fire Design Certification
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
* Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred
* Site experience including surveying and attending design/customer meetings
* Knowledge of electronic security systems such as CCTV and Access Control
* Experience with 3D drawing packages such as Navisworks or Revit
* Familiarity with MOJ requirements for custodial environments
