This role involves teaching a pre-entry group of learners with severe learning disabilities (SLDD). The position is for an ongoing booking, ideal for someone dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of SEND learners. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver educational content tailored to learners with severe learning disabilities.Plan and prepare lessons that meet the individual needs and capabilities of each student.Utilise a variety of teaching methods and tools to engage and support learners effectively.Monitor and assess the progress of learners, providing regular feedback to help them achieve their educational goals.Collaborate with other educational professionals and support staff to enhance learning outcomes.Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an SLDD Lecturer or a similar role focused on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).Strong understanding of the challenges faced by learners with severe learning disabilities.Ability to create and adapt educational materials to meet the needs of SEND learners.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students and colleagues.Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices and methodologies.
