Badham Pharmacy is seeking enthusiastic and energetic pharmacist managers to join our teams across Gloucestershire.
This vacancy is at our busy Brockworth branch in Gloucester, approximately 5 minutes from junction 11 of the M5. The position is part-time, 3 days a week, 09:00-17:30, with some Saturday work on a rota basis.
The branch offers services such as hypertension, pharmacy first, contraception, and NMS, with scope to expand services to include travel vaccines and more. The current trade volume is around 9-10,000 items monthly, including MDS trays.
The branch recently transitioned to the Pharmacy X system for dispensing, providing pharmacists with more free time to focus on essential community services.
With the launch of Pharmacy First in 2024, representing a significant change in pharmacy operations and funding, this is a great opportunity to join a well-known local community pharmacy.

We seek a commercially focused pharmacist with excellent clinical skills who can communicate effectively with customers, staff, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. Leading by example with excellent customer service skills, you will provide top healthcare services to the Gloucestershire community. This role is suitable for a newly qualified pharmacist or someone with more experience.
* Undertake the role of responsible pharmacist at the branch.
* Manage the safe and effective delivery of all pharmaceutical services, including blood pressure, contraceptive services, flu jabs, and Pharmacy First services.
* Promote Healthy Living Pharmacy services to improve community health.
* Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the pharmacy, leading by example.
* Engage with all commissioned services and ensure compliance with quality frameworks.
* Develop the pharmacy business through relevant initiatives.
* Provide strong leadership to a team of technicians, dispensers, and counter assistants.

Required Experience
Qualified Pharmacist, registered with the GPhC upon start date.
