We’re seeking a strategic and compassionate leader to join us as Head of Homelessness Services, a pivotal role withinour management team. As we conclude a major organisational transformation and embark on our new five-yearstrategy, this role will lead high-impact services and help drive innovative change.
About the Role
This new senior leadership post oversees our homelessness services, including temporary and emergency accommodationand youth housing support. You’ll lead a management team and support 70+ colleagues delivering services worthover £2.5m annually.
You’ll play a central role in shaping and delivering our homelessness strategy, ensuring services aretrauma-informed, psychologically safe, and designed around the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop managers and teams across a multi-site division
* Drive strategic development, serviceinnovation, and contract performance
* Embed psychologically informed practice and a culture of learningand accountability
* Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, partners, andstakeholders
* Ensure services are high quality, financially sustainable, and aligned with organisationalvalues
* Take a key role in safeguarding and risk management across services
What We’re Looking For
* A skilled, emotionally intelligent leader with experience in homelessness, housing, or closely relatedfields
* Strong strategic thinker with proven experience leading distributed teams
* Confident withbudgets, service development, quality assurance, and compliance
* Able to work at pace, spot problems andopportunities, and deliver real solutions
* Strong communicator who thrives on collaboration anddeveloping others
* Registered or eligible for SSSC registration as a Housing Support Manager
* Carand driving licence required.
You don’t need to have held a ‘Head of’ role before, if you’ve got multi-site leadership experience, a deepunderstanding of homelessness services, and the drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

We are currently recruiting for Head of Service, this is an opportunity to be at the forefront of tacklingrooflessness and homelessness in Glasgow.
The Service consists of a 7 day street outreach team and a very busy city centre multi agency hub.
The team also delivers a street cycles service with a small team of volunteers, a freephone and intensive casemanagement approach.

* Develop engaging,trauma-informed, person-centred learning content
* Administer and continuously improve the organisation’straining plans
* Lead on learning evaluation, training records, and quality compliance

What We’re Looking For
* Enthusiastic, self-directed professional with a passion for developing others
* Experience deliveringtraining in adult social care (or related field)
* Strong organisational and communicationskills
* A confident facilitator, comfortable guiding others through complexinformation
* Emotionally intelligent, values-led, and excited by doing things differently
* Able totravel across our services – a car and driving licence is essential
