We are working with a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Python Developer to join their technology team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for building scalable automation solutions that streamline and enhance database operations in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
The Role
As a Python Developer, you will design, build, and maintain automation and API-driven solutions that support database management, rollouts, and operational efficiency. Youll work closely with platform, database, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, containerised services at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for database operations and rollouts
2. Build and integrate APIs for database management operations and automation workflows
3. Troubleshoot automation issues across scripting, APIs, and containerised environments
4. Containerise and deploy applications and services using Docker and Kubernetes
5. Administer Kubernetes resources including Pods, Services, Ingress, Secrets, and CRDs
