Our client, an award winning financial services firm, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and manage the Transfers & Payments team (including SIPP & ISA Administration, New Monies, and AML & Onboarding processes).
Your Responsibilities:
* Take strategic ownership of processes across transfers, new monies, and related onboarding activities
* Maintain deep understanding of regulatory, risk, and control requirements
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Operations Executives, technical specialists and a small AML team (typically 8-13 direct/indirect reports)
* Oversee the accurate and timely allocation, reconciliation, and application of all new monies, transfers (on and off platform), and payments in line with internal controls, SLAs, and regulatory standards
* Ensure seamless and efficient client onboarding and fund application processes
Your Experience:
* Proven experience leading or supervising teams in financial services operations within pensions (SIPP)
* Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
* Advanced Excel and data analytical skills for managing, tracking, and reporting on operational metrics
* Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills (internal/external)
* Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to operational excellence and client focus
