Position: Cover Supervisor Location: Secondary Schools – Salford Type: Day2Day, Long term or short term Pay: £115+ per day Subject to experience and qualifications About the Role Axcis Education is expanding its dedicated and confident pool of candidates, to deliver cover lessons in Salford Secondary Schools. This would be a great opportunity for candidates that want to gain real hands on experience to support future roles in teaching. This role would suit candidates with a degree in a subject area, or proven experience in the classroom. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the curriculum by delivering classes, delivering 1:1 intervention or group work. Your Responsibilities Will Include: •Delivering lessons •Leading or supporting small group interventions focused on core subjects •Ensuring a safe and calm learning environment •Remove barriers to learning. •Applying reasonable adjustments to support SEND learners. •Using de-escalation techniques and consistently applying the schools reward and behaviour policy. We’re Looking for Candidates Who: •Have 2+ years’ experience working in secondary schools. •Are confident delivering full lessons to students. •Demonstrate a calm, patient and compassionate approach •Can build strong, trusting relationships with children, staff and families Why Work with Axcis?
