Our client
A scaling private equity backed nursery group, with ambitious growth plans over the coming year. With 70+ sites already open, they need someone to come in and lead and own the deliverables and drive forward the expansion of their new sites, from both a franchising and organic growth perspective.
The Role

* Oversee all planning activities, including applications, consents, change-of-use, and engagement with local authorities
* Develop commercial models for subletting to franchise partners, ensuring profitable structures and long‑term sustainability
* Oversee design, fit‑out and construction, working closely with external contractors, architects, and PM teams to deliver sites on time and on budget
* Ensure sites are operationally ready for opening, coordinating with Operations, Finance and external partners to guarantee a seamless handover
* Act as the primary point of contact for all landlord, franchise, planning and property‑related legal matters
* Use data and insight to drive estate optimisation, investment prioritisation, and long‑term growth strategy
The Successful Candidate
* Proven experience within the UK real estate or commercial property sector
* Experience working within a franchisee business model setting
* Demonstrable success in sourcing, securing, and delivering new sites within a scaling or multi‑site business
* Confident stakeholder management with clear communication and board‑level exposure
* Analytical, data‑driven, and able to balance pace with strategic thinking
What’s on offer?
* Opportunity to shape the future of a scaling nursery business
* Competitive salary (FTC)
