Summary
Are you a qualified counsellor with experience of working with children and adults, looking to use your skills where they matter most?
At Haven House, we support babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families, through some of life's most difficult times. Our counselling service is a vital part of that care, helping children, young people, parents, carers, siblings, and their families to feel heard, supported, and less alone.
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate counsellor to join our Therapies and Wellbeing Team. In this role, you will:
* Provide counselling to children, young people, and adults, including pre- and post-bereavement support.
* Hold a manageable caseload and deliver therapy informed by trauma- and bereavement-aware practice.
* Contribute to family memory days and therapeutic group activities.
* Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, family-centred care.
You will be a qualified counsellor (child and adult), accredited or working towards accreditation with BACP (or equivalent). Bereavement experience is desirable, but more importantly you will bring warmth, professionalism, and the ability to work flexibly within a small but dedicated team.
Come and make a difference in a role where your skills and compassion will have real impact.
