This newly created role will lead the Council's digital transformation agenda, ensuring the delivery of efficient, customer-focused services that meet the evolving needs of our communities and prepare the way for Local Government Re-Organisation, something this role will be a central part of. With the ability to empower teams, the Assistant Director for Digital and Business Change will play a key role in guiding the Council through a journey of transformational change and digital maturity. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking individual with a strong background and qualifications in IT who is able to utilise their skills and knowledge to ensure the Council is proactive in meeting any future challenges. Collaboration will be key to this role so you also be a skilled negotiator with the ability to effectively manage the demands of the role. With excellent project management skills you will be able to drive a high-impact transformation strategy, engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including elected members, directors and employees.
