Responsibilities
* To ensure all goods designated for despatch are sent on-time, packed in a suitable manner using the correct method of despatch to the correct address.
* To ensure all deliveries are promptly located in the correct place and the system is updated to reflect any necessary information.
* Provide support for goods inward inspection where necessary.
* To check all paperwork for accuracy and ensure relevant documents are scanned into ERP system as appropriate.
* To ensure courier software is up to date and addresses are maintained correctly.
* To load/unload deliveries/collections and locate stock from those deliveries into correct storage location.
* Ensure packed goods are despatched in line with Company procedures, work instructions and customer requirements.
* Ensure that all work areas and the department in general are always kept clean and presentable.
* Work efficiently at all times and strive to ensure on time delivery of product is maintained.
* Actively contribute to the company’s 5S culture and ideals.
* Provide support to other departments when requested to do so.
* Maintain quality in line with respective QA procedures and adhere to the health and safety policy of the business.
* Carry out any task that may from time to time be requested by senior management in order to ensure the smooth running of all departments within the business.
Your profile
* GCSEs minimum including English and Maths.
* Previous experience in warehouse operations or similar roles.
* Forklift license desirable.
