About us
VPZ is the UK’s number one vape retailer. Since opening our first store in Edinburgh, we've expanded to over 190 locations across the UK and we're not stopping there. We are known for setting and driving the standards within the vape industry, this is a great time to join us as we continue to grow.
We are looking for a proactive and organised Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. This is a brand new role where you will bridge the gap between finding the right people and ensuring they have a world class start with us.
About the Role
You’ll spend your time sourcing great talent and managing recruitment admin, before shifting gears to lead the onboarding journey. From the moment an offer is accepted, you’ll guide new starters through the process. Ensuring their equipment is ready, their training is planned and probation coordinated. You’ll bring calm, clarity, and a warm welcome to the entire experience.
What you’ll be doing
* Onboarding: Acting as the go to friendly voice for new starters from the moment they accept an offer through to Week 26.
* Logistics & Setup: Ensuring equipment, IT logins, and training schedules are organised and ready for Day One.
* Process Management: Working closely with managers to ensure they follow onboarding and probation timelines consistently.
* Sourcing & Selection: Proactively sourcing candidates via job boards and social media, screening CVs, and building a pipeline of talent for our stores.
* Recruitment Admin: Managing the end-to-end admin process, from posting adverts to scheduling interviews and issuing offer packs.
What we’re looking for
Someone who is:
* Organised: You have a sharp eye for detail and can manage a busy workload with multiple deadlines.
* A Strong Communicator: You can talk to people at all levels, building professional relationships and keeping candidates informed.
* Process Driven: You’re comfortable following (and improving) structured processes, and you're happy to prompt managers to ensure timelines are met.
* Proactive: You take initiative to ensure everything is ready for a new starter’s arrival, ensuring they feel settled from the outset.
Please ensure you apply with an up-to-date CV.
Applicants must be 18 years old or above, any subsequent job offer is subject to pre-employment screening and right to work checks.
