Crawford & Beattie is looking for a Meta Ads Manager to take ownership of paid social campaigns across our client accounts.
This role is for someone who understands that running ads is not just about boosting posts or spending budget. It is about building campaigns that generate real business results. You will be responsible for planning, launching, managing and refining Meta ad campaigns for a range of clients, making sure performance is tracked properly and communicated clearly.
You will work closely with Crawford & Beattie to understand each client’s goals, offers, audience and content strategy, then turn that into effective paid campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
Role responsibilities
* Manage Meta ad campaigns across multiple client accounts
* Build campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager, including campaign structure, audience targeting, budgeting, placements and objectives
* Set up and manage lead generation, traffic, awareness, retargeting and conversion campaigns depending on client goals
* Monitor campaign performance closely and make data‑led optimisations to improve results
* Test creatives, copy, hooks, audiences and campaign structures to improve return on ad spend and lead quality
* Set up and manage Meta Pixel, events, conversions API and tracking where required
* Work alongside our creative team to advise on what content is likely to perform best as paid media
* Report on campaign performance in a clear and commercial way, not just with metrics but with actual insight and recommendations
* Help identify issues quickly, whether that is poor creative, weak targeting, low conversion rates or offer problems
* Ensure client budgets are used properly and campaigns are managed with care and accountability
What we are looking for
* Someone with hands‑on experience running Meta ads for businesses
* Strong understanding of Meta Ads Manager and campaign setup
* Ability to build campaigns with clear logic and structure rather than guessing
* Confidence with testing, optimisation and interpreting performance data
* Understanding of lead generation and conversion‑focused advertising
* Knowledge of tracking, pixels, event setup and attribution
* Able to explain performance clearly in plain English
* Commercially minded and focused on results, not vanity metrics
* Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple accounts at once
* A good eye for creative and messaging, with an understanding of what makes content convert
* Has experience working with service‑based businesses, local businesses or brands
* Can take ownership rather than needing constant instruction
* Understands the difference between content that looks good and content that actually performs
* Is comfortable working in a fast‑moving agency environment
* Can spot opportunities to improve campaigns and bring ideas forward
