Are you passionate about supporting children in their educational journey? We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Deal from September 2025. This rewarding role involves working closely with Key Stage 2 pupils, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and socially.
About the Role:
* Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with specific learning needs
* Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
* Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
* Monitor progress and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs)
* Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to ensure consistent support
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting, particularly in a 1:1 capacity
* Understanding of SEN and strategies to support learning
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) are desirable but not essential
