Are you ready to take your skills to the next level? We are looking for a dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and modification of electrical systems that power our terminal operations.
Your Responsibilities
As an Industrial Electrician, you will:
* Calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
* Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical systems.
* Test electrical systems for compatibility and safety.
* Conduct routine troubleshooting activities.
* Collaborate with manufacturer representatives on current procedures.
* Maintain accurate documentation and upkeep of maintenance files.
* Respond to emergency maintenance call-outs.
* Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
* Execute additional terminal functions as needed.
What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for candidates who have:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in the instrumentation/electrical field.
* Strong knowledge of EH&S and Preventive Maintenance procedures.
* Experience with high, medium, and low voltage power systems.
* The ability to read E&I diagrams and drawings.
* Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
* Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
* Experience with controls, PLCs, motors, and actuators.
* Aptitude for executing customer orders and maintaining records.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC (not required).

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based in Newport News, Virginia.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
