About the role –
We’re looking for a creative and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in enriching the lives of our residents through meaningful engagement, tailored activities, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering a varied programme of activities that reflect residents’ interests and abilities
* Encouraging participation and fostering a sense of community and wellbeing
* Liaising with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities are inclusive and person-centred
* Organising events, outings, and themed days
* Supporting residents with hobbies, reminiscence sessions, and gentle physical activities
* Maintaining accurate records and feedback on resident engagement
* Ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in line with care standards
About you –
* Previous experience in a similar role or care setting is desirable
* A warm, engaging personality with a genuine passion for enhancing lives
* Creative thinking and strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Confidence in leading group sessions and one-to-one interactions
* A proactive, flexible approach with attention to detail
