Bank Worker - Theatre Support Worker

An exciting opportunity to join the Theatres team. The role involves working mainly in Main Theatres, providing high‑quality and safe care to patients, and may require working across all sites. You should be self‑motivated, have experience in an acute hospital setting, and be prepared for shifts that include nights, weekends, and on‑call duties seven days a week.
Successful applicants will be uplifted to Band 3 once all competencies are completed. This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship; candidates must independently maintain right to work in the UK.
Main duties of the job
* Work within all theatre areas, including adults and paediatrics.
* Provide quality care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
* Perform some administrative duties when necessary.
* Support the team in delivering safe and efficient theatre service.
Person specification
Education and training
* GCSE level or equivalent in English and maths.
Experience
* Understanding of the Theatre Support Worker role.
* Experience in an acute hospital setting.
Skills, knowledge & abilities
* Good communication skills.
* Understanding of confidentiality.
* Ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation.
* Team working and ability to build effective working relationships.
* Flexibility / adaptability to work in all areas to meet patient needs.
