Eventus Legal are seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join a well‑regarded and close‑knit legal team based in Redcar, Teesside. This is a permanent full‑time or part‑time role that offers early Friday finishes, supportive leadership, and excellent long‑term progression opportunities. Hybrid and remote working can be accommodated on a flexible basis following court attendance. The salary is around £33,000 for a Newly Qualified Solicitor, with no upper limit for more senior applicants.
Role Responsibilities
* Managing a mixed caseload of public and private family law matters from start to finish
* Preparing legal documentation, representing clients in court, and providing advice and support on a variety of family law issues
* Working independently with minimal supervision, especially during court attendance of senior partners
* Contributing to team leadership and operations support, particularly in preparation for a senior partner’s planned retirement
* Supporting and collaborating with a small, friendly and long‑established team

Person Specification

* A strong communicator, confident in handling client matters and providing court representation
* Experience in either private or public family law, with willingness to be trained in the other if needed
