Independent Garage Vehicle Technician

£35k - £45k DOE + Bonus
8:00am -5pm Monday -Friday, 8am-12 Saturday with a half day back every other week. There is an offered flexibility on this.
Our client, is an independent garage based in Braintree, dedicated to providing high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about cars, has excellent technical skills, and is looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on all vehicle makes and models to a high standard.
* Diagnosing electrical and electronic problems, and providing efficient solutions.
* Ensuring high-quality standards are maintained in all aspects of work.
* Assisting in customer interactions and ensuring the smooth completion of jobs within specified time scales.
* Assisting with the movement and parking of cars around the garage.
* Supporting the team in daily operations and contributing to the overall smooth running of the workshop.
Your Background & Skill:
* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing.
* Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic issues effectively.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and team members.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
* Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
* A valid driver’s license and the ability to move and park cars safely.
* A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
