Lusona Consultancy have a new opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join our client within a rare and exciting service sector business. This is an all-encompassing finance role that will include a mixture of management accounts, budgeting, statutory accounts and analysis. Perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders within a business.
The main responsibilities will include:
1. Contributing to the completion of the monthly consolidate management accounts
2. Supporting with all month end activity, including reconciliations and queries
3. Supporting the budgeting and forecasting preparation for group consolidation
4. Analysing any movements/variances and communicating with the corresponding stakeholders
5. Contributing to the statutory accounts/reports and balance sheet review
6. Responsibility for the fixed asset register
7. Liaising with external auditors to deal with any queries and work towards timely successful completion
8. Assisting with tax returns and liaising with external stakeholders regarding insurance requirements
9. Driving continuous process improvement across the finance team
Applicants must be a Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA), with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. This is suitable for those within industry and commerce or a motivated qualified accountant looking to make their first move out of Accountancy Practice
