Parcel Delivery Driver Are you ready to deliver a difference? Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for temporary postal and delivery driver positions. If you have a passion for community service and love being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Location: Falmouth Shift: Working 5 days between Monday – Sunday. Please note this position involves weekend working and its vital you can commit to this. Hours: 35 hrs per week with varying start/finish times depending on site. 07:30-15:30pm. Hourly Rate: £13.37 basic rate (additional rate for overtime) About the role You’ll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, loading the mail for your route, before setting out on foot or in a provided van to complete your parcel/mail round. You’ll each be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries with each round usually taking around four hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route.
