Salary: £30,204 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm
Occasional Saturday mornings (1 in 4) – Overtime paid
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our onsite catering team at Royal Mail in Leeds. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals to our staff and visitors, ensuring excellent standards of food safety, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
 * Plan, prepare, and deliver a varied and nutritious menu to meet staff needs
 * Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team to achieve high culinary standards
 * Maintain food hygiene and health & safety compliance at all times
 * Manage stock levels, ordering, and budgets efficiently
 * Ensure a smooth daily service while maintaining excellent presentation and portion control
About You
 * Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a busy kitchen environment
 * Strong leadership and communication skills
 * Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
 * Creative approach to menu planning and food presentation
 * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
