We are seeking a highly experienced Full-Stack Developer to design and build a complete Online Travel Agency (OTA) platform similar in model to Expedia.
The platform will aggregate and manage:
Airline bookings
Hotel reservations
Taxi/ground transportation services
Core Requirements
1. Travel API Integration
Integration with aviation APIs such as GDS and NDC providers
Real-time flight search, pricing, booking, and ticketing
Hotel and transportation API integrations
Handling of fare rules, cancellations, refunds, and booking management
2. Business Model & Revenue Architecture
Commission-based OTA revenue model
Markup management and pricing engine
Multi-vendor management (airlines, hotels, transport providers)
Admin dashboard for financial tracking and reporting
3. Platform Architecture
Scalable backend architecture (cloud-ready)
Secure authentication and role-based access control
Payment gateway integration
High-performance search and caching mechanisms
Booking management system
4. API & Licensing Model
Develop a secure API layer that allows third-party businesses to connect to and use our platform
Create a licensing structure so external businesses can integrate and operate under our system
API usage control, rate limiting, and access management
5. Security & Confidentiality
Full source code ownership and transfer upon completion
Strict confidentiality and NDA required
Code must not be reused, resold, or redistributed
Secure development practices required
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience building travel, OTA, or booking platforms
Experience integrating GDS/NDC or similar travel distribution systems
Strong backend and frontend expertise
Experience designing SaaS or API-based licensing models
Knowledge of scalable, enterprise-grade architecture
This is a high-level, long-term project requiring both technical execution and architectural input. We are looking for someone capable of designing the system from the ground up with scalability and commercialization in mind.
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
