We have a great opportunity for a Shift Technician to join the established Engineering Team at a busy food manufacturing site in Lincoln.
We are looking for a proactive Mechanically Bias Shift Technician who's main responsibilities will be for the planned maintenance schedule and responding to breakdowns keeping downtime to a minimum ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment and state of the art packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities of a Shift Technician
* Quality Checks of maintenance activities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance
* Adhere to Health and Safety Standards at all times
* Demonstrate hands on ownership and confidence when responding to breakdowns
* Prioritise system faults
* Accurately record work carried out
* Collaborate with colleagues
* Ensure CMMS is correctly updated
Experience and Qualifications required for an Shift Technician
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Qualification, Time Served Apprenticeship
* Good understanding of Siemens / Allen Bradley
* Good understanding of SCADA control systems
* Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
* Strong communication skills
* Good manufacturing practices

* Annual Salary £54,269 (inclusive of shift allowance)
