Overview
Recruiting for a permanent strong Chef de partie to work within a hotel in a beautiful location.
The right candidate must be able to drive and be available to work any 5 days over 7 based on a 45 hour week. Overtime is available and paid.
Responsibilities
* Assisting in and running any and all sections of the kitchen as directed by the Sous/Head Chef
* Ensuring the necessary preparation in your station is completed in a timely manner and to the highest standard
* Practising excellent waste/stock control
* Cooking effectively, to a consistent high standard, with excellent quality control
* Ensure all areas – not just your own – are kept organised and clean in line with the expectation of the Sous/Head Chef
* Be passionate and proactive – seek to develop yourself in all areas, all the time
* Ensuring all Health & Safety policies and practices are followed at all times
Own transport is essential as the hotel is not served by public transport.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Experience working in a hotel or gastro environment
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a small team
* Ability to drive
