Role
Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Rugby Coach who can motivate and develop students of all levels of ability. Working within our team of Coaches and with the Sports Development Coordinator, the ideal candidate will positively contribute to our Sport Enrichment programme which is made available to all students on Wednesday afternoons, by conducting training sessions and deploying strategies to build upon the strengths and weaknesses of both individual players and the team.

Responsibilities
* Conduct training sessions for rugby and contribute to the Sport Enrichment programme.
* Deploy strategies to develop individual players and the team.
* Work with the Sports Development Coordinator and coaching staff to support program objectives on Wednesday afternoons.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote safe and positive sporting experiences for students.
Qualifications and Skills
* Current first aid certificate – Essential
* The ability to inspire and motivate young people – Essential
* Experience of coaching young people – Essential
* A supportive and empathetic approach towards students – Essential
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills – Essential
* Reliability and punctuality – Essential
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding young people – Essential
* An enhanced DBS check is required; the successful applicant will need to apply for a DBS or have consent to check status if registered with the DBS Update Service
* The Trust complies with the Code of Practice issued by the Disclosure and Barring Service
