Sub Agent (Environment Agency)
AmcoGiffen – Highbridge (Wessex Region)
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sub Agent to join our Environment Agency team in the Wessex region, working on a portfolio of civil, mechanical and electrical projects.
The Role
* Report to a Site Agent or Project Manager and directly manage the daily operations of mechanical, electrical and civil engineering projects.
* Ensure that the contract is executed in accordance with
* All applicable legislation
* The Terms and Conditions of the Contract
* The Contract Health and Safety Plan
* The Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets
* The Contract Quality / Environmental Plan
* Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
* Liaise with site staff and the managing surveyor to ensure tender allowances are not exceeded.
* Continuously monitor contract progress to ensure objectives are met.
* Identify and manage contract changes in conjunction with the site team.
* Provide formal progress reports to the Project and Contracts Managers.
Requirements
* SMSTS certification
* CSCS card
* Degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering (or equivalent compensating experience)
* Prior experience as a Sub Agent or Site Manager in a civil engineering contracting environment.
* Experience on multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects.
