Senior Clinical Lead Nurse role in the South region for Libertatem Healthcare Group. Manage a small team of Clinical Leads, oversee care packages, and provide clinical leadership and support. Extensive experience in complex community nursing is required, including working with clients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, autism, and mental health.

Join Our Team as a Senior Clinical Lead Nurse - South Regions - Maternity Cover
* Deliver personalised client-centred service outcomes, carry out care assessments, write care plans, and manage competencies.
* Provide leadership to the Clinical Leads and support staff, working with Regional Operations Managers to deliver excellent care delivery.
* Report to the Head of Clinical Services and Registered Manager; work with Field Care Managers as needed.
* Maintain professional skills and undertake required training and development; perform in accordance with national standards, legislative requirements, regulations, and best practices.
You’ll have the opportunity to
* Oversee and manage the Clinical Leads to maintain standards and compliance.
* Monitor client and family-centred outcomes; guide and implement changes proactively.
* Support the Head of Clinical Services and the Registered Manager to strengthen clinical governance and community services.
* Act as a responsive escalation point, providing support and advice to the clinical team to deliver high-quality care within care packages.
* Develop individualised care plans in partnership with client, family, and other healthcare professionals; ensure goals are patient-focused, realistic, and achievable.
* Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments with clients, families, and carers; involve other statutory/voluntary/third-sector providers where necessary.
* Support the region by visiting clients, particularly where complexity or issue resolution is required; observe practice of Clinical Leads on visits.
* Engage regularly with Regional Operations Managers to ensure a holistic approach centred on clients.
* Ensure recording systems and documentation are high quality and up to date.
* Motivate and manage the nursing/care team; embed company values and foster pride in work.
* Support field-based care workers and nurses through regular supervisions, competency assessments, and appraisals.
* Report against targets and standards; implement action plans for service improvements.
* Commit to quality standards to ensure statutory, mandatory, and contractual compliance.
Working with Others
* Collaborate with Central Support, including HR, to supervise and support staff through informal check-ins and formal appraisals.
* Liaise with Care Coordination on rotas; ensure staff are trained, assessed, and signed off as competent before lone working.
* Promote and protect the welfare of clients; work with multidisciplinary teams to maximise outcomes.
* Identify information, concerns, and ideas for improvement and share with the senior management team.
Other duties
* Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth to remain a thought leader in the sector.
* Work within the NMC Code; adhere to professional duties and development.
* Keep up to date with best practice and evidence-based research.
* Attend statutory training and other sessions as directed by management.
* Be registered with the NMC and timely with revalidation; seek guidance from the Senior team as required.
* Understand the regulatory framework governing Libertatem’s services.
* Be part of the escalation on-call rota outside office hours.
A Bit About You
This role blends clinical nursing with coaching and management. Experience delivering complex community care is essential; experience with spinal injuries, acquired brain injuries, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, autism, and mental health is desirable. You should be able to pass on knowledge to others and be comfortable working with adults and paediatric care; training will be provided where required.
* Professional nursing registration with no restrictions
* Experience in ABI/Spinal Injury/Complex Care/Community Nursing
* Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., Case Managers, Integrated Care Systems, General Practitioners, Consultants, and other healthcare professionals)
* Experience in people management and leading teams
* Experience in clinical governance and quality improvement
* Experience with incident and complaint management
* Commitment to delivering outstanding care in a challenging environment
* Excellent communication and high standard of written documentation
* Positive, solution-focused approach; flexible and pragmatic
* Strong commitment to statutory, mandatory, and contractual requirements
* Calm, professional under pressure; able to work in a team
* Proficient IT skills; Driving Licence

Qualifications Essential
* The successful candidate must have a professional nursing registration with no restrictions, relevant clinical experience in areas such as ABI, Spinal Injury, Complex Care, and Community Nursing, and experience in people management and leading teams.
