Quantity Surveyor – Major Rail Infrastructure Project (London Euston)

A leading principal contractor delivering complex infrastructure and building works within one of the UK’s busiest mainline stations is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join its site-based commercial team.
Working in partnership with a national rail client, the organisation is delivering a programme of multi-disciplinary construction and refurbishment projects across London Euston. The work is fast-paced, safety-critical, and involves coordination with multiple stakeholders operating in a live rail environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support the commercial management of several ongoing construction packages. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and senior commercial team, you will assist with:

Measurement, valuation, and cost control across active works
*
Preparation and management of contract documentation
*
Financial reporting, forecasting, and budget monitoring
*
Supporting subcontractor procurement and payment processes
*
Ensuring compliance with contractual and client requirements
*
Day-to-day commercial administration within the site management team
This is an excellent opportunity for a post-graduate or early-career Building/Construction Quantity Surveyor looking to gain hands-on experience with significant infrastructure works at a flagship transport hub.
Candidate Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
*
Strong understanding of commercial and contract administration
*
Good communication and organisational skills
*
Proactive approach and willingness to work within a dynamic site environment
*
Previous exposure to rail, infrastructure, or construction projects is beneficial but not essential
