About the Role

2. Embedding trauma-informed and attachment-aware approaches in all aspects of teaching and classroom management.

3. Creating a calm, structured learning environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated.

4. Managing behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.

5. Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and therapeutic staff to deliver personalised support plans.

6. Tracking progress and celebrating every success — academic or personal.

This role is likely to become permanent for the right candidate.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

10. Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

11. Passionate about creating inclusive, empowering learning experiences that promote emotional growth and academic progress.

Experience teaching pupils with autism (ASC), ADHD, or attachment difficulties would be highly advantageous.

To be considered for this role, you must:

12. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
