What you will do:
- Provide expert social work practice within legal frameworks such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other relevant legislation.
- Engage with complex situations while keeping the person's wishes, feelings, and beliefs central to the decision-making process.
- Plan and conduct assessments, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of adults at risk.
- Develop creative support plans that connect individuals to natural networks and community services.
- Safeguard adults' rights and promote their welfare by making appropriate use of legislation.
- Present evidence in court, provide clear reports, and advocate for clients' rights.
- Maintain professional development and uphold the values of social work at all times.
