Overview
Female Personal Assistant required to support a young lady in the Chester-le-Street area who has Autism, Learning Disabilities and complex needs. Rate of Pay - £13.00 per hour. Hours – 104 hrs to be used flexibly over 4 weeks and 1 x 24/48 hr overnight (times and days to be negotiated).
PA will be required to help the lady with the following: Accessing the community and activities of interest (including college), art, animals, music, etc. Graded exposure in the community and building confidence using planning and social stories. Independent living skills. Administering medication and ordering medication. Support with family appointments.
Graded exposure training will be provided by Occupational Therapist. Essential – Experience and understanding of Autism, Learning Disabilities and mental health conditions. Long term position.
Driving Licence and access to a car. A DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
